A leading cardiologist called on L&A for help patenting a surgical device that enables heart surgeons to perform open-heart surgery with just a small (5cm) incision in the patient's chest. Working closely with the client, we applied for and obtained patent protection for the device, which has the potential to revolutionize minimally invasive heart surgery.
