Cambridge, MA – Lando and Anastasi, LLP (L&A), today announced the introduction of the IP Issues podcast series sponsored by the Suffolk University Law School Intellectual Property Law Concentration and available on iTunesU and the Legal Talk Network (www.legaltalknetwork.com) family of programs.
"Suffolk University Law School is pleased to be associated with L&A attorneys, who provide insightful and expert information and analysis of cutting edge IP issues as a public service via these podcasts," commented Professor Andrew Beckerman-Rodau of Suffolk University Law School.
IP Issues is a periodic program hosted by L&A attorneys covering current topics in intellectual property law and practice. The podcasts are directed to business people, corporate and general practice lawyers, students, and others who want more exposure to significant IP issues.
In the debut IP Issues program, Peter Lando and Thomas McNulty discussed When are "Exclusive Rights" Under a Patent License Enforceable by the Licensee?. A second podcast featured Peter Lando and James De Vellis on Leveraging the Patent Reexamination. In the most recent episode of IP Issues, Craig Smith and Thomas McNulty considered Landmark Patent Decisions from The Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
"In today's hyper-connected world, it is refreshing to have a forum for in-depth discussions of important intellectual property issues," noted Craig Smith. Tom McNulty added, "Peter, Craig and I, along with others from L&A, are excited to host the Suffolk podcast series." "Future IP Issues topics will include patent reform legislation, open source software, protecting innovation via design patents, and trade dress," he added.
The IP Issues program is L&A's second podcast series. Peter Lando hosts the monthly IP Counsel program, also available on the Legal Talk Network, which includes in-house IP counsel and IP law professors as guests to discuss recent court decisions and best practices.
