Cambridge, MA – Lando and Anastasi, LLP (L&A) today announced that Annika Imbrie and Teresa Hopkins have joined the firm.
The Cambridge-based intellectual property law firm, one of the largest IP firms in New England, has continued its growth. With the addition of Dr. Imbrie and Dr. Hopkins, the firm expands two of its industry teams – the Electronics and Computer Technologies Group and the Biotechnology and Pharmaceuticals Group – which are among the strongest in the region.
Annika Imbrie was previously a Summer Associate at L&A. She will focus her practice on patent and trademark counseling and prosecution in various electrical and computer technologies, as well as medical devices.
Annika is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and graduated from Duke Law School. She received a Ph.D. in Health Sciences and Technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an S.M. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a B.S. in Computer Science, cum laude, from Cornell University. Prior to law school Annika was a technical advisor and patent agent at Ropes & Gray, LLP in Boston.

Teresa Hopkins is a Technology Specialist at L&A, and focuses her practice on patent prosecution in the areas of biomedical and biotechnology. Prior to joining L&A, she was a Technology Specialist at Nixon Peabody in Boston.
Teresa received her Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Alberta; she completed her post-doctoral fellowship at Boston University. Teresa received a B.Sc. in Pharmacology from the University of Alberta. She has authored several peer-reviewed research articles, and has presented her research at national and international conferences.
