Cambridge, MA –Lando & Anastasi, LLP (L&A) recently announced technology specialists Kristin E. Poti, Ph.D. and Lucas D. Tilley, Ph.D. have joined the firm.

Kristin E. Poti, holds a Ph.D. in molecular microbiology and immunology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she worked in the laboratory of Dr. David Sullivan. Her doctoral research focused on the characterization of a critical malaria protein biomarker to improve malaria diagnostic sensitivity and specificity. During her Ph.D. studies, she also worked as a Commercialization Academy Fellow for Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures.
Kristin assists in drafting and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications, performs freedom to operate and patentability analyses, and conducts due diligence reviews. She is the author of a number of peer-reviewed scientific articles.
Lucas D. Tilley holds a Ph.D. in microbiology and molecular genetics from the University of Vermont and conducted his post-doctoral research at the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research. Both his Ph.D. thesis and post-doctoral work focused on anti-infective drug target identification and validation. Lucas’ extensive research experience also includes roles at Sarepta Therapeutics and The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory.
Lucas assists in drafting and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications and in the preparation of freedom to operate and patentability analyses. He is an inventor on U.S. patents related to antisense technology and is an author of several peer-reviewed scientific articles.
