Amanda assists in the prosecution of patent applications, specializing in the fields of chemistry and biotechnology. She prosecutes patent applications domestically and abroad in a wide range of technologies. Her industry focus includes chemical process control, water and waste treatment, medical devices, energy and “green” technologies and therapeutic formulations. Amanda also has experience in the prosecution of patents for consumer products and specialty materials and coatings.

Amanda brings several years of experience as a research scientist to her practice. She managed a genetics lab with a focus on cancer and cardiovascular research at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. The lab was successful in identifying several drugs, which inhibit specific genetic activity and block tumor growth in animal models. During her undergraduate years, Amanda was a research assistant in a drug delivery and molecular imaging lab at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and a research assistant in a molecular lab at the University of Puerto Rico.
