Peter is an Associate in the firm’s Litigation group. He focuses his practice on patent, trademark, and copyright infringement matters as well as trade secret disputes.

Peter asserts and defends the intellectual property rights of a range of clients, including start-ups and nationally recognized Fortune 500 companies throughout the different phases of their business and product lifecycles. His background in mechanical engineering has enabled him to advise clients in a variety of industries, including automotive, sports, consumer products, mechanical and industrial technology, and medical devices.

Peter’s litigation experience includes district court litigation, inter partes reviews, and matters before the TTAB. He routinely drafts memoranda of law, prepares infringement and invalidity contentions, conducts depositions, works with expert witnesses, and argues motions. For example, Peter recently prepared Daubert motions challenging the admissibility of expert testimony in a gray market goods case, as well as petitions for inter partes review challenging the validity of a family of mechanical patents.

Peter also maintains a pro bono practice involving landlord-tenant disputes, advocating on behalf of tenants faced with threats of eviction.
