Global Merchandising Services, Ltd. v. Various John Does, Jane Does, and ABC Companies (D. Mass. 21-cv-11214).

  • July 28, 2021

Global Merchandise has the exclusive right to market and sell GUNS N’ ROSES merchandise at and around concert venues.  Global filed suit against unnamed bootleggers in advance of Guns N’ Roses August 3rd concert at Fenway Park in Boston.  Global seeks a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction prohibiting the sale of unlicensed merchandise bearing the GUNS N’ ROSES trademark and an order directing law enforcement authorities to seize and impound any such merchandise being sold at the event.

This is a rare case involving bootleg concert merchandise that is not before Judge Zobel – instead, Judge Saylor has this case.
