  • September 8, 2025

BOSTON, MA – Lando & Anastasi, LLP (L&A) is pleased to announce that partner Craig R. Smith was named to the 2026 Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators in America guide.

According to Lawdragon editors, the 2026 list recognizes “outstanding advocates” who have made their mark representing clients in important administrative, investigative, and courtroom battlegrounds. The introduction to this year’s list pays tribute to the quality of the talent included, noting that these lawyers “have changed the course of industry and individual businesses, shaped our nation and the enforcement of its laws, and continued to uphold the role of the law as a beacon and shared imperative.” In researching the exceptional practitioners and creating the annual list, Lawdragon editors “see anew the importance of the advocacy and advocates who are creating our path forward.”

Among those impressive advocates is the leader of our Litigation practice. Craig is a talented and successful trial attorney who helps clients protect and defend their innovations in complex intellectual property litigation. Technology companies of all sizes, from global Fortune 50 companies to start-ups, rely on him to handle their most sensitive IP matters in federal district courts, appellate courts, and at the International Trade Commission (ITC). Craig’s litigation strategy and management skills have resulted in many pre-trial victories, helping to avoid expensive trials and, in one case, averting potential damages in excess of a billion dollars. He also handles post-grant review proceedings before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, including inter partes review and reexaminations.
