Jessica M. Tallman

Overview

Jessica is an experienced legal marketing professional with a creative eye and a forward-thinking approach to marketing communications and business development. She works closely with the firm’s Marketing Committee and other administrative departments to align our marketing and business development efforts with the firm’s short and long-term strategic goals.

Jessica supports practitioners in the development of their practices through tailored business development plans, providing individual coaching, and identifying strategic opportunities for thought leadership and visibility in the community. She leads regular training sessions for legal staff of all levels on topics such as best practices in social media and navigating client and prospective client relationships. She also periodically provides guidance and training to professional staff on topics such as brand awareness and client relationship skills.

Jessica’s professional background includes more than 12 years of experience in marketing departments at large and mid-sized law firms in Boston, providing project management and event planning services for an organic ingredient distributor, and working as a freelance legal marketing consultant and graphic designer. She is a member of the Legal Marketing Association and the Association of Legal Administrators.

Outside of work, Jessica is a devoted animal rescue volunteer and trivia buff. She is an avid sailor and a licensed 200-ton yacht captain, holding a Yachtmaster Oceans license from the Royal Yachting Association and UK Maritime Coastguard Agency.
