Lisa is responsible for the firm’s human resources, legal practice systems, process, and procedures, general operations and strategic technology planning. As part of her roles in HR and Operations, Lisa oversees office facilities, staff training and development, including assessment of employee skills and performance, and hiring, and she ensures compliance in conjunction with the firm’s personnel policies and procedures.
Lisa has established and implemented policies and procedures relating to all areas of IP, which she continually reviews and evaluates, making modifications as required maintaining alignment with legal and regulatory changes. She provides leadership and direction to the firm’s assistants, docketing, international filing, and litigation paralegals.
Lisa also ensures the firm’s information technology systems and procedures are in line with business objectives and users’ needs. She leads strategic planning and design for firm applications and infrastructure, and establishes related IT policies. She also assists with IT budgeting.
Lisa works with the firm’s committees to maintain a collegial and efficient workplace and contributes to the firm’s strategic planning.
