Overview
Stefica is an Associate in the firm’s Trademark Practice Group. She works with clients across a wide range of industries to develop, protect, and enforce their trademark portfolios in the U.S. and internationally. Stefica also assists with Trademark Trial and Appeal Board opposition and cancellation proceedings; drafts responses to Office Actions; and assists clients with domain enforcement strategies.
Stefica received her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, where she served as an Associate Editor of the Northeastern Law Review. During law school, she gained practical experience through several legal clinics, including serving as Student Attorney for the Intellectual Property Law Clinic and as a Research Assistant for the Civil Rights and Restorative Justice Clinic.
Prior to joining L&A, Stefica completed a legal co-op position in the in-house legal department at Snyk, a leader in secure AI software development. She also worked as a Legal Intern at Justice at Work, LLC, where she supported lead attorneys with research and legal strategy development, drafted litigation materials, and conducted investigative research.
During her 2L summer, Stefica served as a Summer Associate at L&A, where she collaborated with attorneys and technical specialists on active matters across all practice areas, conducted IP research, contributed to various writing projects, and participated in CAFC reviews.
