Lando & Anastasi, LLP (L&A) has again been ranked in the IAM Patent 1000: The World’s Leading Patent Practitioners for their work in transactions, prosecution, and litigation matters in Massachusetts. The firm has been ranked in each publication of the IAM Patent 1000 list since it began in 2011. One of the most extensive guides to leading patent professionals and firms in key jurisdictions around the globe, IAM Patent 1000 ranked L&A among some of the world’s most-recognized AmLaw 100 firms. L&A is one of the few mid-sized boutique firms included in this year’s list, and one of only a handful of all firms to be ranked in all three practice areas.
L&A, which celebrated its 17th anniversary this year, is highlighted in the publication as “an exceptional legal and business resource,” and is further noted for its “broad minded practitioners [who] deep-dive into complex issues to resolve them holistically.”
In addition to the firm recognition, three firm Partners were also ranked in the IAM Patent 1000:
Peter C. Lando was ranked for his prosecution and transaction practice. Peter is described as “thoughtful and considerate about clients’ overall business viewpoints,” noting he “strives towards solutions that are commercially effective for companies and their customers.”
Thomas M. Sullivan was selected for inclusion in the rankings for his individual prosecution practice this year, and is specifically highlighted for his “technical chops and business intelligence.”
Craig R. Smith, selected once again for his litigation practice, is recognized as “an excellent mentor,” and as a trial lawyer who “zeros in on what really matters.”
IAM Patent 1000 uses a selection process based on interviews with nearly 1,500 attorneys in private practice and in-house counsel, together with client feedback. L&A’s consistent placement in the rankings validates the success of the firm’s unique business model.
