Lando & Anastasi Adds New IP Talent Across Chemical, Electronics, and Trademark Practices

  • February 23, 2026

Boston, MA – Lando & Anastasi (L&A) has added four IP practitioners with specialized technical backgrounds in chemical engineering, advanced electronics systems, and brand protection as part of a strategic expansion aimed at deepening the firm’s capabilities in three high-growth practice areas.

The additions come as the firm responds to shifting client needs in accelerating patent activity in cleantech and AI-enabled technologies, and trademark enforcement across digital channels. In Fall 2025, Stefica Milor joined L&A as a Trademark Associate. In early 2026, the firm welcomed Zoe Lyon as an Associate, Kayleigh O’Melia as a Patent Agent, and Dionna Parina as a Technology Specialist.

“Our clients are dealing with IP challenges that didn’t exist five years ago, including trademark disputes in virtual environments, patent strategies for advanced materials, and software running mission-critical infrastructure,” said co-managing partner David M. Roccio. “We’re building teams with the technical depth and industry exposure to stay ahead of these shifts, not just react to them.”

Chemical & Material Sciences

Zoe Lyon joins the Chemical & Material Sciences and Mechanical & Industrial Practice Groups with technical training that bridges engineering and scientific research. Her background in mechanical engineering enables her to translate complex materials-based and mechanical innovations into precise patent applications. She graduated cum laude from Suffolk University Law School and holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, cum laude, from Union College.

Kayleigh O’Melia focuses on chemical engineering innovations with particular experience in clean energy and green technology. She works directly with inventors and R&D teams to secure U.S. and international patent protection for innovations in advanced materials and processes. Kayleigh holds an M.S. and B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University and is admitted to practice before the USPTO.

Electronics & Computer Science

Dionna Parina supports patent preparation and prosecution for software, communications systems, and electronics innovations. With advanced degrees in electrical and computer engineering and hands-on experience in mission-critical systems, she brings the technical fluency needed to protect complex, multi-layered technologies. Dionna earned an M.Eng. and B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University, where she also completed a Dyson Business Minor for Engineers.

Trademark & Brand Protection

Stefica Milor, who was a Summer Associate at L&A in 2024, brings a business-focused approach to trademark prosecution, portfolio management, and enforcement, including TTAB disputes and domain name actions. Through in-house legal internships at technology companies, she developed practical experience navigating brand protection challenges in emerging digital spaces – expertise that proves increasingly valuable as clients employ cutting-edge tools and establish presence across new platforms. Stefica holds a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) credential from the International Association of Privacy Professionals, a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, and a B.S. from Lewis Bear Jr. College of Business at University of West Florida.

Keith F. Noe, the firm’s hiring partner, noted, “We’re excited to bring these new talents to the firm, and build them into our client teams. These additions position us to support client growth in sectors where technical precision and industry knowledge make the difference in securing meaningful IP protection.”
