Robert A. Skrivanek, Jr. and David M. Roccio Re-elected; Peter C. Lando Enters Second Year of Current Term
Boston, MA – Lando & Anastasi, LLP (L&A) is pleased to announce the re-election of Robert A. Skrivanek, Jr. and David M. Roccio to the firm’s Management Committee. Bob and Dave will serve alongside Peter C. Lando, who is continuing his term.
Partner and Chair of the firm’s Practice Committee, Nicole A. Palmer, expressed her enthusiasm. “The firm will benefit greatly from the continuity of leadership with Bob, Dave, and Peter at the helm. Their combined experience and vision will guide us through an exciting year ahead.”
L&A’s Management Committee (MC) is made up of three Co Managing Partners who serve two-year terms. This structure reflects the firm’s emphasis on shared leadership and practical collaboration with clients.
Meet the Committee Members
Bob Skrivanek was re-elected this year to his fifth term on the firm’s MC. In addition to this role, he also is a member of several other firm committees. Bob is a successful patent practitioner with in-depth experience in hardware and software related to complex electronic systems. He provides strategic counsel on the development and management of significant global patent portfolios to clients in a variety of industries.
Dave Roccio, who will serve his second term on the MC, counsels businesses of all sizes on the creation and maintenance of strong and sustainable complex patent portfolios. He has extensive experience in counseling startups—especially foreign-based startups who wish to launch their business in U.S. markets and U.S.-based startups looking to expand abroad. Dave is very active in local and national professional organizations and networking groups, and in 2022, he was selected to be a member of the U.S. Department of Commerce Commercial Service District Export Council (DEC).
Peter Lando has been a member of L&A’s MC for numerous terms since the firm’s founding in 2003. His continuing presence as a member of the MC ensures strong and steady guidance as the firm navigates through ever-changing times. Peter has a rich practice which involves all areas of intellectual property law and related transactions. He serves on several academic and non-profit boards and is an active thought leader in the IP community, frequently speaking to industry groups, clients, and students on a wide variety of IP-related topics.
